well i recently dropped my truck 4/6 its a 2000 silverado and my problem is that
when i go over any bump or bad road my front end at the steering wheels shakes bad and it feels like am just goin to loose crontrol on it and i just did the alignment on it and balanced my tires and really didnt help much and now i have no idea wat else could it be?

what you needa do is replace every front and rear suspension part before dropping it then get it dropped. if its a 00 im sure it has 100+k miles right?? you needa replace tierods, struts, shocks, ball joints, etc... an alignment wont fix it all thatll do is make it go straight and a balance is so the truck wont vibrate going down the freeway. after 100k+ miles you needa replace all those parts. buy that brand MOOG or whatever its called it a blue and yellow box. those are the best ones to use.

well i guess i will try changing my tie rods and see if that helps cause when i actually hit a bad road it shackes to the sides
so am thinking it couldnt be the shocks and on the ball joints do ya mean the upper ones cause the djm control armn they comes with new ones?

jack the front up to where the front tires are barely off the ground, get a prybar and slip under tire and try and lift it, if theres movement then the ball joints are bad.. i have 150k on my front suspension and only thing i have changed are the shocks and running on cut springs everything else is in top shape

yeah they do come with new balljoints but cheapass balljoints they probably last like less than a year so what i did i bought the goodones while i had my lower control arms off and that way it was more easier to put the new ones on..and not pay extra more money to get them replaced in a shop later on
