well all the boring and honing to make it a 383 stroker .....and then you need a good intake , carb , head's , ignition system good trans , stall, .......but i think it's cheaper to go with a 5.3 cause you can alway's up grade later and also you get all that drivability on fuel injection.......cause i used to be carburated but not no more.....but that's me...
